Synology has added to its impressive range of high-powered network adapters, launching a dual-port 10GbE RJ-45 card that delivers a performance boost for demanding backup, post-production, virtualisation and other bandwidth-intensive workloads.

The E10G30-T2 adapter is designed for use with compatible Synology systems and replaces the E10G18-T2. It offers data transfer rates of up to 1Gbps and comes with dual 10GbE ports that can be combined using link aggregation to deliver throughput of up to 20Gbps, while also providing port failover and load balancing functionality. It also comes with a five -year warranty.
The company has announced upgrades of its 8TB and 12TB HAT drives – adding the HAT3310-8T and HAT3310-12T SKUs – and, due to anticipated high demand, recommending partners place their orders as far in advance as possible.
Also new is the VisualStation VS600HD, an efficient ‘TV-wall’ 4K solution for surveillance systems. This compact PC-less client device pairs with Synology servers to create a comprehensive monitoring solution. It supports multi-screen output (up to 50 video streams), allowing organisations to keep watch over their premises however they please. With VESA connections it is easy to mount behind monitors for space-efficient deployment.
